Newport News, VA., May 30, 2018 – Insignia Technology Services, LLC is sponsoring the 2018 American Red Cross Salute to Services at the McLean Hilton on November 10, 2018. The Red Cross has a long history of preventing and alleviating human suffering in the face of emergencies. Over the last decade, digital and mobile technology has dramatically expanded our ability to help communities and ensure people have critical information when they need it, where they need it and how they need it. The use of modern technology is vital to quickly respond to life’s emergencies, including those affecting our military and veteran families. As technology continues to advance, the Red Cross is able to advance their mission and the ways in which they are networked to provide care for people in our community and in communities around the world.
The funds contributed to the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region’s annual event are transformed into assistance and resources delivered every day in our community. Whether it is a hurricane or a heart attack, a call for blood or a call for help, the American Red Cross is there. The five major lines of service include helping those in need, connecting the armed forces with their families, teaching lifesaving skills, partnering in international services, and collecting, testing and supplying blood for our community.
